What is ADVERTISING?

Advertising is a form of communication that provides information, calling attention to, and making known something that you want to sell or promote. This includes the name of a product or service, how that product or service could benefit the consumer, to persuade a target market to purchase or to consume that particular brand. These messages are usually paid for by sponsors and viewed via various media.

Kinds of Advertising:

Print Ads – are found in newspapers and magazines.  print advertising

Public Service Announcements – these are basic TV and radio spots of 15, 30 and 60 seconds that support nonprofit companies. There is no expense for the air time.

Internet Advertising – does not require big investment. It is a form of promotion that reaches global market for the expressed purpose of delivering marketing messages to attract customers.  Google adwords is the most popular and biggest internet advertisers.google advertisement

Aerial Banner Advertising – is a form of advertising that incorporates the use of either aircraft to transport and display forms of banners and mobile billboards, or the use of aerobatics combined with smoke projectors to write words in the sky. aerial advertising

Word of Mouth Advertising – is a reference to the passing of information from person to person.  It is the most inexpensive kind of advertising.word of mouth
