What is Matter?

Matter is anything that occupies space, has mass and weight.
            Big objects occupy more space than small ones.

Forms of Matter

Solid

- has definite shape and size.
- their molecules are packed very close to each other
- Solids also can hold their own shape.

Atom, Elements, Molecule

Matter has mass and takes up space.
Atoms are basic building blocks of matter, and cannot be chemically subdivided by ordinary means.
