Circuit Training

Circuit training is a valuable tool in the development of physical fitness. It makes use of a circuit of stations each of which has a designated fitness task. Activities in the different stations contribute to various components of physical fitness such as strength, power, endurance agility, flexibility and others.
To enjoy your circuit training participation, be sure you know the following activities before starting.
- Step Up and Down for cardio-respiratory endurance.
- Agility Run for speed and agility.
- Push Ups for arm strength.
- Thread the needle for flexibility.
- Circular Rope Skip for leg strength.
- Alternate Toe Touching for abdominal strength.

Supplies and Equipment Needed:
- Ropes
- Benches or desk for step up and down
- Masking tapes to establish the lines for agility run
- Ballpen for recording scores
Time Needed:
- 30 seconds will be used for performing the activity in each station, while,
- 10 seconds to move between stations
