Posture Test

Mirrors do not lie.  What you see on them tell the truth about yourself.  They will reveal to you many things which sometimes you do not know.  They will show your grooming and the alignment of your body parts.
When you look at the mirror and you see that your body segments are properly aligned, you should be happy because it means that your posture is good.

Poor Posture

 

Head up, chin up, eyes ahead
Chest up
Lower abdomen in and flat
Slight curves in the upper   and lower back
Knees easy
Weight balanced with toes  pointed forward

Head slightly forward
Chest slightly lowered
Lower abdomen not flat
Back curves slightly increased
Knees slightly back
Weight a little to far back on heels

Chest flat
Abdomen prominent
Back curves exaggerated
Knees in back-kneed position
Weight improperly distributed

Note:   Some postural deficiencies can be corrected through exercises so the earlier you know your postural deficiencies, the better.
