How to keep the Endocrine Gland Healthy

Keeping the endocrine glands healthy is very important.  If the endocrine glands do not function well, the whole system of the body becomes affected.  Practice proper health habits to keep endocrine glands healthy.

1.      Take a bath or wash the body organs as often as possible.  This will remove germs in the skin that may enter and infect the body.

2.      Eat the right kinds of food.  Proper diet provides the body with the necessary nutrients that will keep the endocrine glands healthy in order to secrete enough hormones that the body needs.

3.      Avoid eating too much sweet and fatty food.  Sweet foods provide lot of sugar to the body and may increase the sugar level in the blood.  Fatty foods cause the body to store too much fat which may inhibit the cells to utilize the sugar in the blood.

4.      Drink lots of liquids.  Water keeps the body fluids in proper circulation.  It is also helps the body excretes the excess substances and body wastes properly.

5.      Have enough rest and sleep.  Sleep and rest allow the body to repair damaged cells and tissues.  These suspend the voluntary activities of the body and keep the organ systems from being overworked.

6.      Have a regular exercise.  Join some sports.  Exercise improves blood circulation.  It also makes the body systems healthier and stronger.  Exercise develops a sound mind and a sound body.
